With over 20 years of professional experience, including thousands of hours on set and in the production office, David Whitmey knows the industry inside and out. David began his career as an agency-represented union actor, and then went on to work as a first assistant director, production manager and acting instructor, before founding Moving Pictures Talent & Entertainment Group in 2011.
David’s thorough understanding of all the stages of production, knowledge of the acting process, and passion for story & character sets him apart from the pack, making him a sought after talent representative. LUKE ADAM CAVE – ASSOCIATE
Luke has been an entertainment industry professional for over a decade. After completing his B.A. from the University of Victoria he promptly packed his bags and moved to New York City where he studied acting at the renowned Neighbourhood Playhouse. Upon completing this rigorous conservatory training, Luke remained in New York for several years performing in various theatrical productions and managing a respected rehearsal studio. Since arriving in Vancouver, Luke went on to book commercial work, perform in multiple television shows including appearances on the USA Network, Lifetime, and TLC and became a full UBCP/ACTRA member.
Luke’s deep understanding of the acting process, along with his passion for the art of storytelling gives him a clear edge in working with talent and in connecting them with casting directors, directors and producers. He takes enormous satisfaction in seeing actors succeed in achieving their dreams and in being an intricate part of that process.
